Why you’ll love this burrata salad:
Quick Prep: Make this fresh burrata salad in only 10-minutes! In-Season: Use locally grown in-season produce to make this salad fresh and more flavorful Versatile: Add in whatever fresh veggies or herbs you please
Ingredient Notes:
Figs: Fresh figs are in-season during summer to mid-fall, and are such a unique, different fruit to add to your salads. When choosing figs, choose ones that are plump, and tender with a rich deep color with no bruising. Burrata: An Italian cow milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer casing is solid but the inside is cream-like. If you can’t find burrata, you can use mozzarella but it will give a bit different of a texture and will take longer to melt.
How to make burrata salad:
How do I make this salad vegan? To make this vegan, serve without the burrata cheese. Figs: You can use pre-made fig jam OR make your own by roasting the figs slightly, removing the insides, and blend together! Storage: The salad can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 – 4 days.
