The Creamiest, Dreamiest Ice Pops
We love a good smoothie around here, and let’s be real—strawberry banana is the ultimate classic, right? It’s got the perfect balance of sweet, fruity, and indulgent flavors. So, we’re turning that tried-and-true combo into ultra-creamy strawberry popsicles! They’re just like the smoothie we all know and love, but frozen and perfect for cooling off on a warm day. As the author of a best-selling popsicle cookbook (For the Love of Popsicles), I’ve made these countless times, and trust me, you’ll be reaching for these healthy, homemade, and totally scrumptious pops all summer long.
Here’s What You’ll Need
The best part about these creamy strawberry popsicles is how little ingredients you need! (You likely already have all three lying around in your kitchen.)
Strawberries: Fresh strawberries are full of natural sugars, meaning you probably won’t have to add any extra sugar or sweeteners! Banana: Also naturally sweet and extra creamy, bananas do wonders for creating that perfectly biteable texture in ice pops. Greek Yogurt: Full-fat Greek yogurt has the best texture when frozen (compared to non-fat yogurt). I like to use plain, but feel free to experiment with different flavors (you can even make your own Greek yogurt!).
Making them Is As Easy as 1-2-3!
Switch Up The Flavors
This strawberry popsicle recipe is super flexible! You can swap out or add ingredients to make them just the way you like them.
Fruit Mix: Instead of strawberries, substitute raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries. Mango, pineapple, kiwi, and peaches are also tasty! Banana-Free: Not a fan of bananas? You can replace the bananas with 1/2 cup of either full fat canned coconut milk or more yogurt. Yogurt Swap: Plain Greek yogurt does well here, but you can also use flavored varieties (strawberry, vanilla, or peach would all be delish!). Extra Flavors: Spice these pops up a bit by adding vanilla extract, lemon juice or zest, a pinch of cinnamon, lime juice, or orange juice.
