Your Go-To Summer Cocktail
Ever sat at your favorite restaurant sipping a frosé, wishing you could whip it up at home? Guess what—you totally can! Frosé is the magical grown-up wine slush you didn’t know you needed, and it’s ridiculously easy to make. You don’t even have to wait for it to freeze (because, let’s be honest, who has time for that?). Just blend your favorite rosé with frozen strawberries, and you’ve got a refreshing frosé wine slushie ready in under 5 minutes. Feeling a little more patient? Let it freeze, then scrape it into glasses with a fork for a cool, frosty texture. Make a batch now, save some for later, and you’ll always have frosé on hand for those treat-yourself moments!
You Only Need 3 Ingredients
Frozen Strawberries: First, you’ll need some frozen strawberries. For the most delicious fruit-to-wine ratio, I recommend 1 16-oz bag (about 4 cups)! Rosé: For the wine, you will need a 750 ml bottle of rosé (use your favorite brand and variety!). Sugar: Feel free to further sweeten things up with a dash of sugar (or your sweetener of choice).
Making Frosé Is So Simple
You know the saying ‘rosé all day,’ right? Sort of cringe, but totally relatable when frosé tastes this good (and is so easy to make).
Flavor Remixes
Frozen rosé is not exclusive to strawberries, and you can use any wine you love (though sweeter varietals work better). Try mixing and matching these fruit and wine pairings.
Fruit Swap: Any berry is great in this (think raspberry, blueberry, or even blackberry). Peaches and mangoes are delicious as well! Add Some Juice: For a slightly different flavor, add a splash of orange, pineapple, cranberry, lemon, or lime juice. Red And White Wine: Red wine is great with mixed berries and a dash of orange juice. Blend white wine with frozen pineapple. You can throw in some coconut for an extra tropical vibe! Pinot Grigio And Sauvignon Blanc: Pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc pair wonderfully with any of the above—pineapple, mixed berries… even mangoes!
