Firstly soak 1/4 cup of toor dal  chop and keep vegetables ready keep rice

1-HOUR WEEKDAY LUNCH

Dry roast the required ingredients for curry and let it cool Ground it and keep it aside  sauté onion and add brinjal; roast till Brinjal s are cooked; let it cool Wash the mixie jar and ground coconut for Kuzhambu  Use  tamarind paste and prepare kuzhambu After Brinjal is cool add the coarse ground mixture and prepare poriyal Fry Vadam and let it cool

Dal Tadka - kids friendly 

Pressure cook dal with 3/4 cup of water and a pinch of turmeric powder Add 1/2 tablespoon of ghee and when the ghee is hot add 1/8 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seeds, and 2 fenugreek seeds, let them splutter Furthermore add cooked dal, 1/4 cup of water, a pinch of turmeric powder, a generous pinch of garlic powder, a pinch of ginger powder, required pepper powder, and a pinch of chilli powder; let boil for 5 minutes garnish with coriander leaves and add a generous pinch of hing and turn off the stove
