Basil: Use fresh basil for this recipe for the best flavor. I like to grow basil in my garden in the summer. It’s really easy to grow and then you have an endless supply all summer long. Almonds: To add a little crunch to this lemon garlic pasta, I added Sante Nuts Chipotle Almonds. These also add a nice spice but a little sweetness to the recipe as they’re made with a combination of 5 peppers.

Butter: If you have an herb or ghee butter, use it! It’ll be delicious. How do I make vegan lemon garlic pasta? You can substitute ALL of the dairies in this recipe for your favorite vegan options- be sure to use slightly less plant-based milk and add extra nutritional yeast to bring out that cheesy flavor! Get Creative: Customize this pasta by adding some of your favorite roasted vegetables or adding a protein option, it’s endless! Pasta: Swap the long fusilli for your preferred pasta shape OR use gluten-free pasta! Storage: Store the pasta in the fridge for 5 – 7 days, and reheat to serve!
