Meetha paan is a popular indian digestive treat made with betel leaves, nuts, and various sweet ingredients like fennel seeds, coconut, and sweetened syrups. Betel leaves for a drink
I only get dark green betel leaves here in the USA. Hence I always use them. Adjust the quantity according to your taste.
Ice cream
vanilla ice cream is optional but it gives amazing flavor so i recommend it.
shredded coconut
I used finely shredded coconut. Avoid fresh or frozen coconut. If you have bought a big desiccated coconut, pulse it once. You can use coconut powder too. The coconut I used doesn’t contain sugar
Add ons
I have used coconut, gulkand, cardamom, and fennel seeds. You can use tutti frutti, dates, or any other flavor of choice.
Can I consume the drink immediately?
Yes you can drink immediately or refrigerate till you served
Shelf Life drink
Stays good for 2 days. Avoid keeping it long
