The Best Snack on the Planet

So these balls. These peanut butter energy balls have been a staple recipe for Team Fit Foodie before Fit Foodie Finds was even a thing. They’re the ball recipe I bring to every event I host and and my go-to healthy snack throughout the week. THESE BALLS ARE EVERYTHING TO ME AND THAT’S NOT EVEN A JOKE. Every time I bring these peanut butter energy balls somewhere, I get asked what the recipe is. WHELP- here it is people!

It’s a Protein Packed Party

Alright, let’s go over exactly what you need for these yummy peanut butter balls AKA peanut butter protein balls…because in every 1 serving you get 2g of protein! If 2g isn’t enough, you can add a scoop of your favorite protein powder for even more protein in every bite. Check out all of our favorite protein powders here!

Get Yourself a High Quality Blender

While those are the ingredients you need to make these peanut butter protein balls, we highly suggest a high-speed food processor / blender, such as the Vitamix. No, this is not a sponsored post. We are just obsessed with our Vitamix. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me (other than the day I discovered the peanut butter banana combination). I love this small appliance because it’s 3 things in 1: a HIGH-SPEED blender, food processor, smoothie maker. I stress high speed because this thing processes like WOAH. Instead of spending mediocre money on all three of those things…I suggest you make an investment and get the best of all three in one. It will make your kitchen life so much better, I promise. There is nothing worse than a half-assed food processor that doesn’t really work. AMIRIGHT So yes, these balls are as simple as throwing everything into your food processor and processing for 2 minutes then rolling into balls. It’s as easy as that.

Energy Ball Storage

What I like to do with my healthy peanut butter balls is lay them out on a cookie sheet and pop them into the freezer for a couple of hours before placing them in my “ball bag.” That’s right ladies and gents. I have a running gallon-size ball bag in my freezer that I just keep refilling. I find that my energy balls will last the longest things way and I actually prefer them a little frozen. We suggest keeping your balls in the freezer, but the fridge works too! If you keep them in the freezer they will last up to 3 months and in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. One last thing before I go!
