250 grams okra 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon + 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder Required salt 2 tablespoon curd
Vendakka roast
1 tablespoon + 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed Curry leaves few 1/2 tablespoon urad dal Asafoetida
How to make vendakkai roast with step-by-step pictures
First, add okra to a wide mixing bowl
Furthermore, add turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, required salt, and curd; mix well
Marinate for at least 1 hour
Add oil to a wide pan and heat
Furthermore add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves; splutter
Add asafoetida; mix well
Furthermore, add marinated okra; mix well and cook for 7-8 minutes
